BIOS Expert. No guessing!?

i checked my bios as my laptop now takes 30 seconds to boot the bios screen and it looks screwed up. i have an acer aspire 5600 but the bios indicated travelmate under product id. The serial number and the et tag number are now not there and in their place is a weird character repeated. Its a phoenix bios. also there is now a uuid as FEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFEFE if that mean anything. i have wiplash and a new bios file and could flash the bios but want a second opinion. also the laptop keyboard became funny since then, the keys sometimes dont register and the touchpad mouse is jerky and not right. thanks in advance
