Is this girl trying to screw me over? 10 pts! PLEASE HELP!?

Ok so i work in this office. I'm a really hard worker and I'm greatly liked by the higher staff and employers. I have a co worker who yesterday was saying that i was bossy and that i always do everything. Today we recieved a new guy in our office and we made friends quickly. A few hours later he came back and said that his expensive ipad was missing. (During this time we were out of the office) The employers called us back and said that they need to do a search. We did a search and no one had it. the girl who i mentioned above opended her wallet and said she was missing 50 dollars. She started saying that she and the guy had their stuff next to mine and nothing happened to my stuff. she was indirectly blaming me. The only time i went in her bag was to get her ipod for her in the front pocket and she was watching. She asked me to get it for her and she was right there. after this calmed down a little a girl in my office asked for change for $100 i had two 50's and i gave it to her. the girl saw it and then she went to her friend and told her that i took her money. (i overheard her saying that) everyone kind of freaked out and huddled in a circle trying to talk about it behind my back. All of the staff was called together and warned about stealing and how if someone is caught stealing they would get kicked out of the job and get arrested. I swear to everything i love i didn't take the money or the ipad. This girl is pointing fingers at me and now no one will trust me and there's a possibility they may not hire me again in the fall (the company is for summer onl;y but if they really like you they keep you for the fall) The employer tells me to keep up the good work and most of the head people have me in mind to keep and so do my uppercl co-workers. What can i do to clear my name. the thing is the girl is acting like everything is cool between us. I'm afraid she might tell everyone that works with us and no one will like me. as of right now i'm ok with everyone. since she told this to everyone, all the people i work with are taking heir bags with them and the their phones and one person was acting kind of rude to me and this persosn is usually very friendly towards me. she thinks i don't know that she's been talking crap about me to the other employees today. I don't want to loose my job or the trust of others for something i didn't do. Help please!
