Will 2012 be the end of the world, why or why not? 10points?

Wheres the proof that the world will end in 2012? If anyone here has REAL proof that 2013 will or will not come, please let me know? (Also, I do not bealive that the end of the world will be in 2012... the myans probably just got bored and stopped or were killed before they could move onto 2013. Also, in the bible it says only god knows...) so please, lell me if you bealive in it and why, or why not.
