ARE AIRGUN CO2 CARTRIDGES SAFE TO FILL BICYCLE TIRES?

Does air gun CO2 cartridges contain oil/lube? I use Innovations non-threaded CO2 Cartridges to fill my bicycle tires. Other cyclists told me that I could use the air gun CO2 cartridges as well for bicycle tires. Is this true? Will the use of air gun CO2 cartridges damage my bicycle tires if it contains oil/lube?
