Do you think that Jesus is angry with gay people?

Jesus never said anything about gay people. And he never promoted hatred or violence toward any group. So why do some religious people think that gay people and their quest for civil rights would anger God? Don't they think God is more concerned with actual problems that threaten human society such as global warming, greed, and famine? Why would God concern himself with harmless gay people? They don't hurt anyone. Would you agree with me that God has bigger fish to fry than the "issue of ity?"
