Is hitting women really that wrong?

I'm fed up of girls and others using that excuse I'm a girl and it just gets on my nerves kinda like on bb9 Mohamed got spat on for nothing and dale was shouting in his face saying that you shouldn't shout in a girls face but Rebbecca was the one shouting in his face so i do believe you should be able to have self defence on a girl as rude as it sounds its just not fair
