Just be sure whatever you use is sturdy enough that it won't tip over, esp. if the baby starts getting interested in climbing things! An inexpensive (and non-permanent) way to decorate a room is to use adhesive vinyl decorative lettering and graphics. One especially nice touch is to customize kids' names, perhaps putting it over their beds.
