Whats the burning smell from my car?

I have a 96 acura integra. Sometimes when I drive I can smell something like burning rubber coming from the car. It only happens during the day never at night. Could it be the heat? Its coming from under the hood of course. Could it be the belt(s)? I have not idea. I know about cars but not enough to determine or pinpoint exactly what it is. Any ideas? Thanks
