2000 ford focus with 126k miles jerks forward when accelerating past 40mph?

my car kind of jerks forward when i speed up to 40mph but about 46 or closer to 50mph it's fine again with no jerking, also it doesn't jerk while deceleration bellow 45. it is due for an oil change does that have anything to do with it?
